Smooth opening and closing
Our Sesam industrial door control system is trusted at major industrial sites across Scandinavia and Europe, with some facilities managing dozens or even hundreds of controlled access points. At Ovako’s steel mill in Hofors, for example, over 80 industrial doors are operated using Åkerströms’ Sesam 800 system.
In a large industrial complex, some users may only have authorisation to open one specific door or several within a restricted area. Our gate control system for industrial use supports multiple transmitters per receiver, meaning several staff members can control the same entry point from their individual transmitters. With a range of different models and button configurations, we can offer the optimal solution for your requirements.
Support for encrypted transmission
The barrier remote control system supports encrypted transmission to prevent unauthorised activation, group coding for logical organisation of large installations, and duplex communication for confirmation of command execution. Receivers are available for wall mounting, DIN rail installation, and ruggedised machine mounting. For large facilities, configuration software simplifies the setup and ongoing management of multiple transmitters and receivers.
Our products are robust and sustainable, adapted for Nordic climates and usable across a wide range of temperatures, water and dust resistant to protection class IP67. We can solve everything from garage doors in tenant-owner associations to workshop and industrial doors, gates, and barriers to and within enclosed areas.
