Freight and delivery terms

For deliveries within Scandinavia, we apply NL09 & NPV09, and deliver according to INCOTERMS EXW Björbo, unless otherwise agreed. Contact us if you would like to view the terms.

Our deliveries are normally shipped via PostNord. Our aim is to deliver spare parts the same day and standard products (stock items) within 1-2 days. We cannot always guarantee that the product will be available in stock.

Booking methodTerms

Customs documentation and dangerous goods

We guarantee that the management of all dangerous goods deliveries and customs documentation will be correct according to applicable laws and regulations.

Deliveries of Li-ion batteries are regulated by UN3480 and UN3481. Our personnel are specially trained and authorised to manage dangerous goods. To ensure a smooth and safe delivery, we always arrange and manage all deliveries that include Li-ion batteries.

Purchase terms

Åkerströms Björbo AB only sells B2B. For deliveries within Scandinavia, we apply NL09 & NPV09, and deliver according to INCOTERMS EXW Björbo, unless otherwise agreed.

Returns and right of withdrawal

When purchasing products that are part of our standard range, there is a right of withdrawal period of two (2) weeks from date of invoice. The standard range only includes Sesam 800 and Remotus Jupiter without additional work, such as fitting a cable. Custom Remotus Mercury products are not included in the right of withdrawal.

Each return must be agreed with us in advance by emailing frontoffice@akerstroms.se. Approved returns will be credited with 80% of the product value. Freight and packaging will not be credited. The purchaser is responsible for all return freight costs.

The following terms must apply for the right of withdrawal to be approved:

  • The product must have been purchased directly from Åkerströms Björbo AB. The purchaser must provide the relevant order or invoice number.
  • The product must be unused and still be in the original, undamaged packaging. Missing or damaged packaging will be charged for according to the price list.
  • The product must be packaged to prevent damage during transport. Damaged products will not be credited.
  • A fee of SEK 500 will be charged for the return shipment or rejection of non-approved returns.

E-billing

Åkerströms customers can choose how they wish to receive and pay their invoices. Most customers use the digital option, which is much more sustainable than the paper invoice.

We encourage you to make the environmentally friendly choice and to reject paper invoices, which will otherwise come to your mailbox.

Paper billing

There is an additional environmental fee of SEK 50 per invoice.
