Scanmaskin polishes with precision and clarity using the Remotus system

Åkerströms has collaborated with the floor machine manufacturer Scanmaskin for more than 10 years. During this time, Åkerströms has supplied many Remotus systems for their large floor polishing machines. The remote systems that control the movements of the floor machine simplify and streamline work on large floor surfaces, making the operator’s work more flexible, clearer and ergonomic. Instead of operating the heavy machine manually, its movements are controlled wirelessly from a Remotus ERA 150 transmitter fitted to a waist belt.

From its headquarters in Sweden, Scanmaskin has been manufacturing market leading floor, surface treatment and polishing equipment since 1975. All manufacturing is done at their plant in Lindome on the outskirts of Gothenburg. Scanmaskin products are supplied worldwide, with the USA being the biggest and most important market.
